ENTRANCE GATE
Inspired by the romantic birch-forests of Russia and the historical monuments of the ancient royal residence this project fits perfectly in the modern contest of the St. Petersburg International Fair creating a new entrance and landmark. The whole structure is constructed of birch which is a typical tree in the area around St. Petersburg. The entrance painted in white underscores the original color of the wood and which pinnacle is visibile from long distance and indicates the main gate of the fair. All construction details has been studied and sent over to St. Petersburg for the local construction.
